“Never Too Late” follows the journey of Kezia Cooper Hobson as she navigates the complexities of starting anew in the bustling metropolis of New York City. Recently widowed and liberated from the burdens of her past, Kezia embraces the opportunity to forge a fresh path forward. Armed with only a handful of cherished mementos, she relocates to a luxurious penthouse in midtown Manhattan, where she finds solace in the familiarity of the city she has always loved.
Amidst the hustle and bustle of her new surroundings, Kezia crosses paths with her charismatic next-door neighbor, Sam Stewart, a renowned movie star with a heart of gold. Despite their vastly different backgrounds, Kezia and Sam find themselves drawn together by a shared desire to make a difference in the wake of a devastating crisis that grips the city.
As they embark on a journey of volunteerism and compassion, Kezia and Sam form an unlikely bond that transcends societal expectations and challenges their preconceived notions of friendship and love. Meanwhile, Kezia’s daughters, Kate and Felicity, are confronted with their mother’s newfound independence, prompting them to reevaluate their own priorities and desires.
As the story unfolds, Steel masterfully explores themes of resilience, courage, and the enduring power of human connection. Through Kezia’s journey of self-discovery and personal growth, readers are reminded that it’s never too late to pursue happiness and embrace the unknown.

Review 1:
Never Too Late is book #51 I’ve read by Danielle Steel. On July 4th, a horrible attack happens in NYC – worse than 911 and I can’t imagine anything worse than that. Danielle Steels latest book tells her story and it kept me intrigued until the very last page. I loved the characters and despite the horrible attack that thousands more lost their lives, some new relationships and friends were also made. Thanks to NetGalley and the publisher for this advance copy. To be published March 2024. Read Full Review

Review 2:
Never too Late by Danielle Steel is another one of her wonderful novels. We meet Kezia Cooper, who has lived in San Francisco, California for a long time, but after her husband died, she spent 5 years on his board and now decides to sell her place and the business and move to NYC. Kezia’s grown daughters both live in NYC, and with her 60th birthday upcoming, she wanted to try something new, and enjoy life in New York City, as well as be able to see her daughters. Kezia’s two daughters were very different, especially with Kate being 14 years older. Read Full Review
