Catharina’s skill to weave a tale around many characters and still keep focus on main protagonists is simply amazing. The outwardly cool Lex with his complex emotions and inhibitions is wonderfully portrayed. Again strong and sassy yet sweet Raya is written to perfection!! As always, there is angst in this story but then again as always how it’s handled by the protagonists is unique to each story and it simply makes you fall in love with the writing!!

Loved the trope and story 💜💜 The desi in me was so happy to see so many Indian elements 🤌🤌. Raya is so sweet, smart, understanding and caring and perfect partner for Lex. Lex went through so much trauma that resulted in his behaviour in 1st half of the book. Due to the qualities of Raya, he fell for Raya which was evident in his internal monologue.
